Recall or Hold
Recall - when a recall is placed on a book, the borrower receives a notice to return the book within 7 days
to avoid possible suspension of library privileges and fines being levied. Electronic recall forms are available on the Mathematics Library homepage at
http://www.library.nd.edu/services/recalls.shtml
Hold - If a hold is placed on an item, a notice will be given when it is returned or renewed that it is
needed by another patron
All circulation notices, recalls, ready for pick-up, time to renew, overdue, will be sent via e-mail to the official Notre Dame e-mail address of the patron.
Campus Document Delivery
If a book or journal article is in Hesburgh or another branch library , it can be sent to the Mathematics Library via Document Delivery. This service is offered only to Notre Dame faculty. Forms are located on the Mathematics Library home page, http://mathematics.library.nd.edu/
Interlibrary Loan
If the Notre Dame Libraries do not own a book or journal article, it is often possible to obtain it from another library through Interlibrary Loan.
There are two different kinds of loans: books request and photocopy requests. Forms for each request are located on the Mathematics Library home page, http://mathematics.library.nd.edu/
